Malibu Standup Paddle Surfing

I finally broke down and bought an Olympus waterproof camera (see below) and took it out with me and some buddies in Malibu this past weekend. It was a beautiful day in the 80’s and we had a nice group of guys out there. All we were missing were waves! In any respect, I got some great shots of local seals catching some rays on a rock as well as Malibu locals paddling out in the bay. I’ll create a gallery on our photo page for more pics, but here is a taste!

As a personal trainer, I think that Standup Paddle Surfing is one of the best ways to train the core.  It requires balance, coordination, agility, and total body strength - especially when there are waves!  I highly recommend trying this great form of exercise.  If you need any help getting set up, let me know!
